A survey of industry & client needs clearly indicates an interest for an energy program designed for the process industry. In response, JMP Engineering combined over 75 years of process & energy experience to develop the Industrial Energy Management Program™.
The Industrial Energy Management Program™ helps you develop a measurable energy plan that will lower your energy costs & greenhouse gas emissions. When you have completed the process you will:
- Have a comprehensive, well-defined corporate energy management plan.
- Be aware of your industry energy usage targets and able to benchmark your usage.
- Understand your utility bills and how they relate to your plant's processes.
- Have the tools to properly monitor and target your energy usage.
- Clearly identify areas where the program has positively impacted your bottom line.
- Enhance your organization's reputation in your industry & the community.
The Industrial Energy Management Program™ is divided into three phases. Phase One’s free self-assessment package and targeted plant audit provide you with the plant’s Energy Efficiency Index™ and a report highlighting 3 energy saving opportunities you can implement for under $10,000 each.
Should your plant qualify, you can commit to Phase Two of the program and have a full Industrial Energy Audit completed. This audit will provide you with a detailed, actionable report outlining your production energy systems, utility costs and practices, and specific project recommendations with scope, ROI, and cost saving estimates. Once completed, we will work together during an Action Planning Session to select initiatives and create individual project plans with business case support for management.
In Phase Three we can help you execute the selected projects, and complete an Industrial Energy Program Review to evaluate the initiatives and develop any required energy saving reports. The process is outlined further in the diagram below.
