Microsoft Partners Program IMPACT Awards honour Microsoft’s Canadian technology partners’ and their commitment to customer satisfaction
London, ON, September 22, 2006 – JMP Engineering announced that it has been selected as a finalist in the Mobility Solution of the Year category at the 2006 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. The fourth annual Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards acknowledge the exceptional work technology partners in Canada are doing with Microsoft-based technologies and software to deliver innovative solutions and unmatched value to their customers.
“Each year, technology partners continue to raise the bar in technology innovation and reaffirm their ability to deliver specific solutions that help meet customer demand,” said Lora Gernon, Director, Partner Group, Microsoft Canada Co. “The 2006 finalists demonstrated strong expertise in a diversity of markets and the Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards celebrate the innovative solutions they developed to help drive real business growth.”
JMP Engineering was chosen as a finalist in the Mobility Solution of the Year category for their Mobile Inventory and Production Solution for Manufacturers. The solution streamlines manufacturing, reduces plant operating costs, and enhances overall production functionality, through the entry of raw materials, their status, and consumption into batch production.
“As the only industrial automation, control, and data solutions provider recognized, we are extremely honoured to have earned this recognition,” said Katherine van Nes, Director of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for JMP Engineering. “This repeatable solution, which was originally created for a large dairy foods manufacturer, cost effectively provides real time connectivity between plant floor and ERP systems, as well as enhancing genealogy tracking – a critical requirement for today’s food and beverage companies.”
JMP Engineering, along with other technology partner winners and finalists in each of the award categories, will be honored at a gala event in Toronto on November 2, 2006.
