JMP Engineering Inc. of London, Ontario Selected as Plant Automation Partner by International Food Manufacturer

Recently, a major food manufacturer prioritized their need to line up qualified technology partners who could provide cost effective turnkey automation solutions across multiple processes and plants globally. JMP was recommended to the project evaluation team and invited to compete along with more than 75 other recognized machine builders and system integrators.
Once technical presentations, demonstrations and interviews were completed, the JMP Engineering Inc. team was selected as one of 15 finalists. The next round of company site and installation visits resulted in JMP’s selection by the evaluation team.
JMP’s strengths in designing and integrating flexible controls-intensive automation cells with vision and sensing technologies were evident. This, combined with a proven track record in the food & beverage industry and providing engineering and integration services within the customer’s own supply chain contributed to JMP’s final selection.
JMP demonstrated how they brought innovation and capability together, creating a mutually beneficial experience throughout the project lifecycle and subsequent supportive services. “When you invest the time and resources necessary to clearly understand your customer’s goals, people, processes and priorities you begin to feel like an extension of their team. Over the next five years the company plans to roll out dozens of industrial automation projects to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
