As a Controls Specialist, you will be involved in all aspects of automation, control and information system projects from design to programming through to commissioning. You possess knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in regards to PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMI, AutoCAD/Electrical Design, and have appropriate debug and testing skills. You will typically work in either an office or industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Working on various stages of automation and control projects (AutoCAD, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMI)
- Managing portions of projects as assigned (assist with quoting, materials ordering, budgeting etc…) depending on the size and scope of the project
- Attending to field service and emergency calls
- Participating in customer meetings from a technical perspective
- Accountable for individual performance goals that will be determined with your manager on an annual basis
Ideal Candidate:

As a successful candidate you are:
- An Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineer or Technologist with a minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field of industrial and/or process controls
- Knowledgeable regarding industry processes (oil and gas, food and beverage environments are beneficial)
- A proven self starter
- Motivated by challenges
