    Our San Antonio and Edmonton locations are seeking experienced Project Managers. As a Project Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of automation, control and information system projects from conceptual design to implementation for a diverse set of clients in various industries. You possess knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in regards to Project Management and Coordination; Scoping, Budgeting and Scheduling; Engineering Processes; Electrical Controls and Process Automation projects; Process, Plant, and Machine Control Systems; Electrical Design; Concept Development and preparing Quotes/Proposals; and have noteworthy problem solving and communication skills in an engineering environment. You will typically work within an office and oversee projects through to completion.

Responsibilities:

    The challenge of Project Manager will include:
  • Leading various stages of automation and control projects (conceptual design, detail design, programming, configuration, commissioning, supporting, training)
  • Overseeing projects as assigned in the $100k - $2,000k range (quoting and proposal development, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, managing, etc. depending on the size and scope of the project)
  • Supporting clients, team members and projects in the region
  • Executing successful projects within defined parameters for quality and customer satisfaction
  • Accountability for annual individual performance goals that will be determined with your manager
  • Applying established JMP standards and assisting in continuous improvement of JMP systems, tools and processes
  • Supporting business development within the region

Ideal Candidate:

    As a successful candidate you are:
  • An Engineer or Technologist with a minimum [5+] years of progressive control system experience, including extensive experience managing projects from the opportunity stage through to completion
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Instrumentation, Communication Protocols, Electrical Design, Troubleshooting/Testing/Commissioning
  • Knowledgeable regarding industry and manufacturing processes (food and beverage, cement, oil & gas, and petrochemical environments are beneficial)
  • A proven self starter and team player, an excellent communicator, and motivated by challenges
