Date: 3/20/2007
Location: ISPE Central Canada Chapter Breakfast Seminar - Mississauga
With growing global and economic pressures, operational excellence (OpX) initiatives to improve quality, throughput, performance and safety have been gaining attention in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Data systems can drive these operational excellence initiatives when they are appropriately chosen and effectively integrated. This session will review current data system technologies, including enterprise integration, data point solutions, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and manufacturing intelligence, and how they relate to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Case examples will be used to highlight specific opportunities and concepts of lean, portals, and PAT will be discussed.
