How the CartonFlex for Corrugate Solution Works

The real magic is how the robot's guidance and the gripper work together. By mimicking the technique and strategy a person uses to handle corrugated blanks with their eyes and hands, the robot is able to perform the tasks faster and more reliably. The guidance system also plays an important role in handling the imperfect product and stacks that inevitably occur through the transportation and delivery of corrugate. Furthermore, the payload capacity and speed of the robot enable it to increase throughputs and productivity by loading more product per cycle and at a faster rate. The system is tailor-able to a wide variety of customer needs depending on type of product delivery, required throughputs, multiple blank sizes, changeover, gripping orientation, and indexing or continuous infeeds.
