JMP's MicroFlex™ solutions are small, portable vision guided robotic systems for automating the pick and placing of light weight products. The systems are flexible, portable and run on 120 VAC power making them a great fit for contract packagers where flexibility and agility are key to their business.

In order to keep things simple and cost-effective, JMP's MicroFlex solutions use the core proven technologies without the fancy bells and whistles. At the same time, we haven't sacrificed flexibility or adaptability. The systems are capable of handling a wide variety of products, have simple setups, and changeover and incorporate safety to protect people.

How the MicroFlex Solution Works

At the core of the JMP MicroFlex solution is a small off-the-shelf industrial robot. The system is configured on a portable stand that can be wheeled through your plant line to line. The robot itself uses 2D vision guidance to find and locate the products to pick and place. The vision guidance system is used to calibrate the robot when it's moved from one location to the next, and can also be used to do quality inspection.
